The University of Eastern Piedmont has recently acquired a perpetual license for the use of EasyReading font, marking a significant step towards inclusivity and accessibility in academic education.
EasyReading is the result of years of research and development aimed at improving the reading experience not only for people with dyslexia but for all readers. Designed to reduce visual strain and enhance text clarity, the highly legible EasyReading font stands out as a fundamental tool for facilitating access to culture and education.
The adoption of EasyReading by the University of Eastern Piedmont is part of a broader trend of recognition by other prestigious academic institutions. The University of Turin, Bari, Catania, Genoa, Macerata, Naples Parthenope, Perugia, Pisa; the University for Foreigners of Siena, the online University e-Campus, and many other institutions (both Italian and international) have already implemented our font in their educational materials and communication. This recognition highlights the importance of EasyReading in promoting more inclusive and accessible educational environments.
As Federico Alfonsetti, the designer of EasyReading, emphasized: “Ensuring equal access to culture and education is a fundamental principle for academic progress and equity. With the introduction of EasyReading, universities can provide students with a tool that supports those with dyslexia, while improving the reading experience for everyone. This approach represents a significant step toward a more inclusive and accessible education, demonstrating how innovation can help remove barriers and promote educational equity.”
We are truly proud to collaborate with the University of Eastern Piedmont and many other prestigious institutions in adopting EasyReading. This joint commitment represents an important step toward a future where access to knowledge and culture is guaranteed for everyone”.
